I have always liked the art of portrait because it highlights the spirit and the depth of character drawn by just looking at facial expressions, especially the eyes. I choose to use pastel colors in my African line. Although these colors are difficult to use because it is hard to remove the color and change it if it is placed on paper.. CAT IN BLACK PROJECT
I am an Egyptian artist who was greatly influenced by ancient Egyptian art and the abstract school. I wanted to mix the two together to create a different style that combines antiquity with modernity.
I have studied the cats’ bodies in details for more than three months between the anatomy of the body In different positions and I started to show the flexibility of their bodies and different shapes that appear whenever they move In my cat paintings.
Canson papers and black ink were my tools.
I didn’t want to use any colors in the cat paintings, but only black and white, in order to show the composition and color contrast.. See More..
